Career
My musical education began during my school years at the Quirinus-Gymnasium in Neuss: as a Jungstudent (pre-college student) from 2006, I studied trombone under Prof. Ulrich Flad at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Bachelor's and Master's studies in Cologne, London, and Würzburg followed, leading to permanent orchestra positions, most recently as principal trombone with the Bielefeld Philharmonic, and since 2021 as a member of the German Armed Forces music corps in Siegburg.
Alongside my orchestral career, a second passion has developed in recent years: conducting. Since 2022 I have studied Wind Orchestra Conducting at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts under Prof. Toni Scholl, and have been in the Master's program since 2025. Alongside my studies, I regularly take on guest conducting engagements, including with the German Wind Philharmonic and the Brandenburg State Police Orchestra, for which I also write my own arrangements.
